About Us
The purpose of this online monthly is to shine light on stories, ideas and projects involving alumni, students, scholars, staff and friends of UC Berkeley. This is a way of knowing more about "les gens de Berkeley", their education and career, their passions and interests. This is also an opportunity to connect or reconnect with your alma mater.

Les Gens de Berkeley was first launched under the helm of Nicolas Tollet, Berkeley Club of France’s founder and former president. Since the beginning, it has covered different subjects and profiled different people with the help of different contributors (alumni or not).

Among our cultural references, you may find a novel, "Dubliners", written by Irish writer James Joyce, and a documentary feature, “At Berkeley", directed by American filmmaker Frederick Wiseman (whom we had the honour to interview for the magazine).

So if you are a Berkeley enthusiast, come join us at one of our events, submit an article to gdbmag@gmail.com, post a comment or get involved and join our alumni volunteers-run Berkeley Club of France.
Go Bears!
